Navigating Campus

Parking
The 禁漫天堂 campus offers students the ability to have a personal vehicle throughout their time at the College. There are certain areas on campus where students are able to park based on a variety of different circumstances. Campus Safety is responsible for administering and enforcing vehicle parking regulations at 禁漫天堂. Vehicle and Parking regulations are in effect at all times throughout the year.
ID Cards
Students, Faculty, and Staff all have personal identification cards with photos that allow them to gain access to different buildings, pay for their meals and charge to their college account. These cards hold unique access to the individual and will only give them access to the areas that they are identified as being a part of (cards will open most academic areas, but will only open residential areas to which an individual is assigned).听
禁漫天堂 has multiple print stations on campus that students can use.听 Students are allotted a certain number of pages which they can print free of charge; view those details and printing tips . You can find the locations , and the instructions for submitting a print job .

Student Handbook
The Student Handbook is your official introduction to important resources and is your guide to Etown policies, community standards and expectations for individual student conduct.听 The policies and procedures of the Student Handbook will be reviewed periodically and are subject to change.听
Dean of Students
The mission of the Student Life Division is to foster an engaging, supportive, and culturally vibrant living and learning environment where each student feels they belong.听This sense of belonging extends to all aspects of the student experience; in the classroom, in the residence halls, in the dining hall, or attending an event.
Office of Civil Rights, Opportunity, and Access
The Office of Civil Rights, Opportunity, and Access supports students with historically marginalized identities, educates the community about and celebrates听 identity, and addresses structural inequity.听Working with students, faculty, staff, and the greater community, this area promotes a culture prioritizing individual worth and interconnectedness.听 Our mission is realized through a number of events and activities exploring topics including but not limited to听race/ethnicity, gender and gender identity, sexual orientation, age, socioeconomic status, ability status, national origin and religion.
Career Development Center
The Career Development Center helps students and alumni with career exploration, job shadowing and internships, professional skills development, and much more. Each semester, the Center plans events to enrich students' career preparation, including etiquette dinners, job fairs, and professional skills workshops.
Center for Civic & Community Engagement
The Center for Community and Civic Engagement (CCCE) provides opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to engage and deepen their involvement in service in local, national, and international contexts. Reciprocal relationships with local organizations are the foundation of these efforts. The Center hosts our annual days of service: Into the Streets in the fall and Into the Campus in the spring. They also provide students with information about听 voter registration while at college.
The Bowers Center for Sports, Fitness & Wellbeing
The Bowers Center for Sports, Fitness & Well-Being serves as a dynamic campus hub for health and well-being at 禁漫天堂. Our state-of-the-art facility provides purposeful programming that inspires, educates, and empowers students and the campus community to cultivate healthy and active lifestyles, as well as supporting the College鈥檚 expanding athletics program.
Office of Student Activities
The Office of Student Activities (OSA) is the student-run central programming organization on campus. OSA is responsible for planning and executing a wide variety of events, both entertaining and educational, for the entire campus.
The Jays App
The 禁漫天堂 Jays App brings campus to your fingertips and enables you to connect with the entire campus community. Stay on top of your events, classes, and assignments with the built-in calendar function. You also have the ability to get notified of important dates, deadlines, and security announcements. Student Health Services
禁漫天堂 College collaborates with Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health to provide comprehensive clinical health services for our students.听 Students can connect with our dedicated nurse to address health concerns. In the event of an emergency, students should call our Campus Safety emergency number (717-361-1111) or 911.
Counseling Services
Counseling Services provides a broad range of counseling and mental health support services that facilitate our students' personal, social, and academic development. Our licensed mental health professionals provide short-term individual counseling, group counseling, crisis intervention, consultation, and psychiatric services to currently enrolled students for no additional charge. Counseling services are provided in a confidential and identity-affirming environment to help students address a variety of mental health, situational, and developmental concerns. 听These services are available to all students as part of their tuition (no additional fees).
Title IX Office
禁漫天堂 is committed to providing a learning, working, and living environment that promotes personal integrity, civility, and mutual respect in an environment free of sex discrimination and sexual misconduct. 禁漫天堂 takes seriously violations of Title IX policy and will investigate allegations of Title IX violations to the fullest extent possible.
Campus Safety
Campus Safety
禁漫天堂's Campus Safety office offers many services to the College's student, staff, faculty and visitors including around-the-clock-patrols, safety escorts and transportation for students to the train station and airport. Security on the campus grounds and parking areas is provided by patrol vehicles, on bicycles, or on foot. Student Patrol Officers also patrol these areas.听

Live Safe App
LiveSafe is a mobile safety app that 禁漫天堂 is providing all students, faculty and staff for their personal wellbeing and for the overall safety of 禁漫天堂. The free, voluntary app is extremely user-friendly and available on all Android and iOS devices. It is a powerful safety tool that allows for a more efficient exchange of information between members of the community and Campus Safety.
LiveSafe allows you to quickly and easily communicate directly with safety officials, allowing Campus Safety to better protect you.
Security Awareness Programs
Programs are offered throughout the year that provide safety training for students, faculty and staff. These trainings include self-defense, drug and alcohol abuse awareness, first-aid/CPR/AED training, as well as other individual trainings with various departments across campus.
Crime Statistics
Campus security makes various crime statistics available to the campus community. These include the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report, Daily Crime and Fire Log, and Information on Registered Sex Offenders.听
Dining & Residence听
The Marketplace
Located on the second floor of the Baugher Student Center, the Marketplace is the primary residential dining location on campus. The Marketplace is an 鈥淎ll-You-Care-To-Eat鈥 facility for students using their meal plans. In-house dining is available to all guests.听 The OZZI to-go system is available to anyone with a current, valid 禁漫天堂 ID, allowing full to-go service from the Marketplace. In addition to meal plans used on the 禁漫天堂 College ID card, the Marketplace accepts cash, credit card, Jay Bucks and campus charge with a valid 禁漫天堂 College ID.听
The Jay's Nest
The Jays Nest is the perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat on the go or between classes. It offers a made-to-order grill, a deli station, a salad/soup bar as well as quick grab-and-go options like sandwiches, sushi and salads. The Jay's Nest also offers chips and other snacks as well as a small grocery section and frozen foods section. They also occasionally serve baked items (including gluten-free options) from the campus bakery as well as honey, collected from the beehives on campus.听
The Blue Bean Cafe
The Blue Bean is the on-campus coffee shop. They serve a variety of delicious hot and iced Starbucks beverages, including espresso drinks as well as drip coffee, and frozen and iced drinks.听 The Blue Bean also offers an assortment of delicious baked goods which includes, of course, the famous 禁漫天堂 carrot cake.听
The Fresh Nest Cafe
The Fresh Nest Cafe offers a rotating menu of healthy food, smoothies and other dining options for our campus community. The Fresh Nest Cafe is located on the first floor of the Bowers Center for Sports, Fitness & Wellbeing.听
The Blue Jay Pantry
The Blue Jay Pantry has been established by our Center for Community and Civic Engagement to provide our students with free, non-perishable food items sourced by charitable donations from within our community.

Traditional Residence Halls
Our traditional residence halls are Schlosser, Brinser, Founders, Myer听and Ober. They offer the traditional residence hall experience. They are all temperature controlled, offer a standard height-adjustable bed, a desk with a chair and ample storage space. They also offer bathrooms with showers conveniently located within a short walk of the rooms. Our Resident Assistants work in our traditional residence halls to f oster community building and belonging, help with decision-making, and are there when you need a sounding board or advice. Each building has an RA to student ratio of about 1:30. They participate in an on-call rotation each evening and are available to connect you to campus resources.听
Hackman Apartments
The Vera Hackman Apartments is one of our ILUs (Independent Living Units) and houses about 180 junior and senior students. Known as Hackman North and South, the complex is divided into two separate buildings. Each three-story structure has 23 four-person apartments that include bedroom furniture, furnished living and dining rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Each complex has a communal laundry facility located on the first floor. There is a picnic space outside of Hackman with community charcoal grills and picnic tables. Our Community Assistants work in our ILUs to provide a touchpoint for upper division students. They help with deadlines, community development and building, and preparing students for the transition to off-campus life after graduation.听
Schreiber Quadrangle
The Schreiber Quadrangle is one of our ILUs (Independent Living Units) and houses about 128 junior and senior students. Known as the Quads, it is divided into five separate complexes of townhouses. Each townhouse includes bedroom furniture, furnished living and dining rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom. 听The townhouses are designed in a U-shape with a large courtyard and commons building where laundry facilities and a central lounge are located. Several charcoal grills and picnic tables are located in the courtyard. Our Community Assistants work in our ILUs to provide a touchpoint for upper division students. They help with deadlines, community development and building, and preparing students for the transition to off-campus life after graduation.听

Financial Aid & Scholarships
We don't want finances to get in the way of a great education. In fact, the ability to pay does not factor into our Admissions decision. We make it our job to work with all of our students to ensure they have the resources necessary to make higher education affordable. Affordability is so important to us that we assign all students (current and prospective) a financial aid counselor assists them throughout their time at Elizabethtown to ensure that every student's financial needs are addressed.

Signature Learning Experiences
Signature Learning Experiences are real-world educational opportunities that challenge you to think beyond the books, go behind the scenes and travel across borders. We call them "signature" experiences because, from student to student, they are as different as you are, and they are what make the Elizabethtown experience different from other colleges.
Academic Advising
The office of Academic Advising is dedicated to the pursuit of academic excellence and welcomes all who share this passion. We assist students in the development of meaningful educational plans compatible with their life goals. Our services supplement and support the faculty advising system, the primary advising tool on campus.听A holistic approach is used by addressing students鈥 intellectual, emotional, and physical needs. We wish to inspire in students the value of hard work, fair play,听develop confidence, consideration for others, and a sense of leadership and global citizenship.
The Writing Wing
The mission of The Writing Wing is to help all students learn about and improve their writing.听 The Writing Wing is devoted to all aspects of writing, a chain of events frequently called the writing process. It's not simply a proofreading service; instead, it's a learning service aimed at helping students become better writers.
Tutoring Services
Our mission is to assist students working toward achieving their academic goals, in an open and safe environment while demonstrating integrity, respect, confidentiality, and professionalism. The Learning Zone fosters a student-centered learning environment and provides academic and writing tutor support as well as professional academic coaching, by a coach certified in Learning Differences and Neurodiversity: Specialization in Executive Function. The coach can assist students in the areas of study skills, time management, and school/life balance.
Disability Services
禁漫天堂 has a long-standing tradition fostering the values of peace, non-violence, human dignity, and social justice.听 Aligning our practices with these core values, the Office of Disability Services is committed to providing equal access for students to all courses, programs, services, and activities.听 Part of the Center for Student Success, we offer resources, tools, and support to help students become responsible decision-makers and knowledgeable self-advocates as they pursue their academic and professional goals. In addition, we are committed to working with the entire campus community to cultivate an awareness of an inclusive educational environment.
Information & Technology Services
Information and Technology Services at 禁漫天堂 is responsible for all computing, networking, web and database services for the institution. 听Our mission includes, but is not limited to offering quality consultation and training to students, faculty and staff, the purchasing, installation and support of all software and hardware, in addition to providing consistent reliability of back-end services to support the College and community.
