Our typical student has performed successfully in a challenging college preparatory curriculum and on standardized tests, ranking in the top quarter of their high school class. We consider letters of recommendation, high school activities, special talents, interests and community service involvement. These factors help us determine if you will get the most out of an ½ûÂþÌìÌà education!

Application Processes
Every person has a different college journey. We are committed to partnering every prospective student with one of our outstanding Admissions Counselors, and empowering them with the knowledge and skills to move forward toward their goals no matter what their starting point is.
Common Processes for All Applicants
Test Optional*
Standardized Tests Optional* - ½ûÂþÌìÌà will review applications with or without SAT's or ACT's. There will be no penalty for choosing not to submit scores. These wavier options are non-applicable for international students and those applying to the Physician Assistant Program.
For those submitting scores, you may select either SAT or ACT, one test is not preferred over another. Official scores can be sent directly to Etown through College Board using code 2225 or ACT using code 3568.
Deadlines & Additional Requirements
Secondary Education Requirements for Admission
Applicants must graduate from an accredited secondary school or a state Department of Education-approved program with at least four years of English, three years of mathematics, two years of laboratory sciences, two years of social studies and two years of foreign languages.*
*We acknowledge that each high school has its own set of requirements.

Interview to Apply
Interviews are not required (see exceptions below), but are strongly recommended for all candidates.

- Occupational Therapy – Priority Deadline January 15 / Interview Required
- Physician Assistant – Early Deadline December 2 / Invited to Interview
- Music – Audition Required
- Pre-medical Primary Care Program – Deadline January 15 / Invitation to Interview
- Law Early Admissions Program – Deadline March 15
- Honors Program – Priority Deadline January 15 / Invitation to Interview
- Stamps Scholarship – Deadline January 15 / Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit all optional application essays
- Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology Pipeline Program – Deadline January 15 / Invitation to Interview
