First-Year Admissions Information
Apply as a First-Year Student
1 Complete either the or to begin the application process at ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ. Please note, one is not preferred over the other. Once your application is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email and instructions to set up your personal admissions portal. By checking your portal regularly, you can stay up to date on the progress of your application. This is also where decisions are posted.
2 Request to have one letter of recommendation* submitted by a teacher or guidance counselor.
3 Request to have your official high school transcript* submitted showing work completed at least through your junior year. High school students taking college coursework can request to have their transcripts submitted directly to us from the credit-granting institutions.* Please see our website for additional details.
4 Standardized Test Scores - Applications will be reviewed with or without standardized tests with the exception of the Physician Assistant Program. Please see our website for our Test Optional Policy.
*To fulfill this requirement, official documents must come directly to us from the high school guidance office, recommender or credit granting institution. Generally speaking, official credentials can be submitted via secure electronic services, emailed to apply@etown.edu, or mailed to: ½ûÂþÌìÌÃ, 1 Alpha Drive, Office of Admissions, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Check with your Guidance Office on their specific policies.

Below are some additional steps to consider as a first-year student applying to Etown.
Secondary Education Requirements for Admission
Applicants must graduate from an accredited secondary school or a state Department of Education-approved program with at least four years of English, three years of mathematics, two years of laboratory sciences, two years of social studies and two years of foreign languages.*

Interview to Apply
Interviews are not required (see exceptions below), but are strongly recommended for all candidates.

- Stamps Scholarship – Deadline January 15 / Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit all optional application essays
- Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology – Deadline January 15 / Invitation to Interview
