General Election 2024 Information
Election Day is Tuesday, November 5! Polls are open from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. in Pennsylvania.

The CCCE is providing rides to our local polling place for students registered at their campus address. The shuttle will leave from the Brinser lot at 8 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. Sign up for a ride here: .
PA voters who are voting for the first time or are voting at a new address for the first time are required to show their ID at the polls. for more information. Student can show their student ID.
Stop by the CCCE between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Election Day and show that you voted to receive an exclusive ½ûÂþÌìÌà Votes sticker!
Mail-In Ballots
The United States Postal Service recommended all mail-in ballots be mailed by Tuesday, October 29. If you still have a mail-in ballot after this date, consider going to vote in person on election day instead. If you requested a mail-in ballot and choose to vote in person instead, take the mail-in ballot with you to your polling place so that you can surrender it and vote in person.

Register to Vote
- ½ûÂþÌìÌà encourages students, faculty, and staff to engage in the wider community, including participating in the electoral process.Ìý You must be registered in order to vote!
- U. S. Citizens who will be 18 or older on election day may vote in the election.
- Students may choose to vote either in Pennsylvania or in the state from which they moved. A 1979 Supreme Court decision affirms the right of students to vote in the county and state in which they attend school, whether they live on or off campus. Students can register to vote in the location of their student residence or their previous permanent residence.
- Note that changing your voter registration from one state to another may impact some recipients of state government aid and a small number of recipients of private scholarships and grants. If you have one of these scholarships or grants please be sure to check eligibility requirements.
- Changing your voter registration from one state to another will not affect any of your federal financial aid, including Pell Grants, Perkins Loans and Stafford Loans, Direct Subsidized Loans, Direct Unsubsidized Loans, and other federal loans and grants. It will also not impact whether you are considered your parents’ dependent for FAFSA (Federal Application for Student Aid) purposes.
