禁漫天堂

Javita Thompson is the Director of Community and Civic Engagement at 禁漫天堂. She supports collaboration between the community and the campus in a variety of efforts. She also provides opportunities for civic education and engagement at 禁漫天堂. She has experience in management, leadership, and higher education. Her primary goal is supporting all students with an emphasis on marginalized populations and their communities.

In her work as an adjunct faculty member at 禁漫天堂, she centers her curriculum around student success and cultural humility. She also has experience teaching communication courses at Millersville University and Shippensburg University. She has facilitated book discussions on 鈥淲hite Fragility鈥�, by Robin DiAngelo, and 鈥淪o You Want to Talk About Race鈥� by Ijeoma Oluo and co-presented at the National First-Year Experience in Washington, D.C. on 鈥淐ross-Campus Collaboration鈥�.

A first-generation college graduate, Javita earned her Bachelor of Science in communication and her Master of Science in Emergency Management from Millersville University and a second master鈥檚 in Education Leadership from Shippensburg University.

Jocelyn is the Coordinator of the Bonner Leader Program at 禁漫天堂. The Bonner Leader Program is a service/leadership program aimed at connecting 禁漫天堂 College students with the surrounding community. Jocelyn works with the Bonner Leaders to foster relationships with one another, form connections with the community and 禁漫天堂 College, and exemplify the College鈥檚 motto 鈥淓ducate for Service.鈥� Jocelyn attended 禁漫天堂 College for her undergraduate degree where she majored in Psychology and Neuroscience and is currently in the Master鈥檚 in Counseling Psychology Program at 禁漫天堂.
