History
Myer was opened as a women鈥檚 residence hall in 1957 and named in honor of Elizabeth Myer. Elizabeth Myer was one of the original faculty members on campus and the first female professor.
General Information
Myer is a co-ed residence hall that houses about 130 students. Myer has 5 triples, 4 singles, and 65 doubles. Myer鈥檚 restrooms were renovated and updated to individual bathroom units (sink, toilet, and shower) on the second and third floors in 2017.听 The building features a lounge on each floor, a kitchen on the first floor, a kitchenette on the second floor, and laundry in the basement. Myer is part of the Dell community.

Floors:听Vinyl flooring in rooms, carpet in the hallway
Furniture: Each student will have a twin bed that can be adjusted for height, a desk and desk chair, and a built-in closet and dresser (please note built-in furniture cannot be moved). Beginning in August 2025 all rooms will have a MicroFridge unit provided too.
Windows: All room windows come with a shade.
Air Conditioning: Window AC units.
Kitchen Facilities:听Communal kitchen located on the first floor, including sink, refrigerator/freezer, & stove/oven on the first floor. Communal kitchenette located on the second floor, including sink, mini-fridge, and microwave.
Community Bathroom Information:听 Ground Floor has one individual use bathroom; First Floor has one community bathroom and one individual use bathroom; Second Floor and Third Floors have two 鈥減od style鈥 clusters of individual use bathrooms,听
Laundry Facilities:听听Located in the basement. There is no additional cost for laundry during the academic year.
