Military Tuition Assistance
MilitaryÌýTuition AssistanceÌýis a benefit paid to eligible members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Congress has given each service the ability to pay up to 100% for the tuition expenses of its members.
Each service has its own criteria for eligibility, obligated service, application processes, and restrictions. This money is usually paid directly to the institution by the individual services.Ìý

Using Military Tuition Assistance
- Service members should contact their Educational Services Officer (ESO) or counselor prior to registration to confirm the availability of tuition assistance funds.
- After discussing enrollment with your ESO or counselor, contact your academic advisor to register for coursesLog into your branch education portal and follow their process for enrolling and requesting TA. You will need to make a separate request for each course.
- Register for courses; all branches require registration prior to approval.
- If your Military Service does not automatically forward your TA authorization, send your approved forms to us via fax at 717-361-1485 or email them to businessoffice@etown.edu.

Every enrolled student is assigned a team of professionals to help them achieve their academic goals.Ìý Each student is assigned a primary advisor as well as advisors for each major/minor declaration.Ìý In addition, the department chair of every discipline associated with the degree-seeking programs are available to the student.Ìý Every student is required to meet with their academic advisor prior to course registration each semester.Ìý Students who fail to satisfy this requirement will be prohibited from registering for classes.Ìý
