Transfer Students
We welcome inquiries from all qualified students interested in transferring to Etown. Over the years we have found transfer students contribute greatly to college lifeÌýas well as gain much from their experience. The following information will allow you to give careful consideration to Elizabethtown as you make plans to continue your education. Diversity within the student body is important, and we strive to select a class of able and contributing individuals from as broad of a range of backgrounds as possible.
How to get started:
Step 1:
Choose the Transfer Students link (Transfer Students) on the Admissions website for detailed information about the admissions process. Transfer applications are generally not processed after December 1 for spring admission or June 1 for fall admission. Contact Lily Nardozzi, Assistant Director of Admissions & Coordinator of Transfer Recruitment, at (717) 361-1162 or to discuss the process of applying to Etown.
Step 2:
For information about transferring credits to Etown, go to the Registration and Records website (Registration and Records) and choose Transfer Credit Information to review policies and procedures.
Step 3:
For information about your intended major, choose the Academics link found on the top tool bar of the ½ûÂþÌìÌà homepageÌý(Academics). Next, choose the academic departments link, then choose the department of your intended major. There you will find a link to faculty and staff. Email the department chairperson to discuss your options and what your next step will be to successfully meet your goals of graduation. If your intended major is occupational therapy, allied health, international business, or music you will be required to meet with the appropriate department personnel during the admissions process. Step 4:
Following your acceptance to Etown, you will receive electronic correspondence from the office of Registration and RecordsÌýwhich will include a welcome letter, list of frequently asked questions, a transfer credit evaluation report, and a degree planner for courses necessary to meet both the Core curriculum and your intended major. Additionally, a letter will be mailed to your home address listing your pin number with instructions on how to access Jayweb. Curtis Smith will contact you about planning your schedule and registering for classes.
