An 禁漫天堂 education is for people who feel the pull to contribute to the world. Our students go on to be exceptional in whatever profession they choose. Scholarships open the door for our students to gain an incredible 禁漫天堂 experience. They provide the necessary support our Blue Jays need to access a transformative education and dynamic experiences both inside and outside the classroom.

鈥淚 plan to become an ICU nurse. Finding out I was a scholarship recipient made me feel seen as a student from a low-income family. It helped me lift a serious weight off my shoulders.鈥�

Impact Scholarships
Impact scholarships are annual scholarships that support 禁漫天堂 students who have financial need. They enable the College to recruit and retain the best and brightest while providing greater access to a transformational 禁漫天堂 educational experience. Donors can create an impact scholarship with a commitment of at least $2,500 per year for a four-year pledge. Donors also have the options to name the scholarship - either for themselves or in honor/memory of someone - and designate the award to an academic school (e.g., School of Business, School of Public Service).

Endowed Scholarships
Endowed scholarships help to ensure that an 禁漫天堂 education is available to all students. An endowed scholarship at 禁漫天堂 establishes a permanent resource from which our students will receive support in perpetuity. These scholarships enable the College to enroll current and future generations of students regardless of their financial means.

Through a Business Impact Scholarship, your company can make an investment in future leaders who will make a difference. Today, 禁漫天堂 presents more opportunities for learning, innovation, and transformative experiences than ever before. An annually funded Business Impact Scholarship presents an opportunity for you to support 禁漫天堂 students in a way that reflects your passions and values. You can create a scholarship that is meaningful and will have a positive impact on the lives of 禁漫天堂 students.
Business Impact Scholarships are annual scholarships that support 禁漫天堂 students who have financial need. They enable the College to recruit and retain the best and brightest while providing greater access to the 禁漫天堂 experience.
Businesses can create a Business Impact Scholarship with a commitment of at least $2,500 per year for a four-year pledge. Your company has the option to name the scholarship 鈥� either for the business or in honor/memory of someone. A Business Impact Scholarship can be designated to either the Family Business and Entrepreneurship Certificate or to an academic school of choice (e.g., School of Business, School of Engineering and Computer Science). What sets these scholarships apart from other giving opportunities is the ability for your gift to go directly and immediately to a student 鈥� when you give $2,500, they receive $2,500.

鈥淚t is so gratifying to see firsthand how your contributions are being leveraged to help students have the best educational experience possible. The name of my scholarship, 鈥楿nlocking Your Potential,鈥� embodies my purpose. It鈥檚 about helping others know they are loved, they are worthy, and they are strong.鈥�
Valerie realized her vision of helping students push themselves beyond what they themselves perceive they are capable of through the creation of the "Unlocking Your Potential Scholarship," which benefits a student who comes from a single-parent home. Valerie earned her bachelor鈥檚 degree in Communications from 禁漫天堂. During her time at 禁漫天堂, she lost her father to suicide and credits the College for supporting her through the hardest time in her life. This is what inspired her to create the 鈥淯nlocking Your Potential Scholarship.鈥�

Mike is a current member of the 禁漫天堂 Board of Trustees, and served on the College鈥檚 President's Leadership Council for seven years. Through his involvement with 禁漫天堂 over the past decade, he learned that providing funds for scholarships was where he could best help the College continue its mission to 鈥淓ducate for Service鈥� and remain viable in the very competitive landscape of higher education. Mike, who graduated with a degree in Business Management and Marketing, created the scholarship to provide students of all majors with the same life-changing experiences that he had at 禁漫天堂.

鈥淪ixty-five years ago, as a graduating high school senior, I was overwhelmed to be awarded a scholarship to attend 禁漫天堂. Now, it is my privilege to fulfill another dream by being one of many willing to provide a scholarship that will open the doors of opportunity to tomorrow鈥檚 leaders.鈥�
Barbara never forgot how a donor鈥檚 generosity set her on a path to fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher, and that was key to her and her husband鈥檚 commitment to creating a need-based scholarship that will enable current and future 禁漫天堂 students to prosper and succeed.

鈥淲hen I chose to attend 禁漫天堂, I was able to make the decision based on the merits of the school and the high quality of the Accounting program. Because of the assistance I received via scholarships, cost did not have an outsized impact on my decision. By creating a scholarship, I鈥檓 able to join the many donors who help make 禁漫天堂 affordable for all students.鈥�
An Accounting major, Becky takes great pride in 禁漫天堂鈥檚 program and is excited for the opportunity to support students majoring in Accounting, a profession that is currently facing a labor shortage. 禁漫天堂 not only provided Becky with an excellent education, but it also helped her develop lifelong friendships and a strong sense of community. She continues to serve the College as a member of the Alumni Council鈥檚 Executive Committee and the Accounting Advisory Committee.
Beth Bowers 鈥�79
Creator of The Beth Bowers 鈥�79 Scholarship
鈥淭here are various ways to give back to the College, but this scholarship allowed me to go beyond just supporting the Annual Fund and other giving opportunities. It felt like a more personal connection where I can make a difference for students who share my interest in physical activity, nutrition, and athletics.鈥�
Beth was the first donor to capitalize on 禁漫天堂鈥檚 Million Dollar Match initiative, the most significant fundraising match in 禁漫天堂鈥檚 history. Through this initiative, Beth was inspired to create the Beth Bowers 鈥�79 Scholarship, which will benefit students who are majoring in Exercise Science. As a student at 禁漫天堂, Beth majored in Business Administration and was a member of the varsity field hockey and softball teams. Athletics were very important to her from an early age, and her 禁漫天堂 experience was defined by the close relationships she built with her teammates and coaches.
