Internships for Biology Majors
Employers are increasingly interested in hiring graduates with professional experience in their chosen field, whether that be an internship, research with a faculty member or employment during their college career. The Biology department at ½ûÂþÌìÌà makes it a priority for every student to have the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge outside of the classroom in a practical, real-world environment.
Internships can take place during the summer or throughout the academic year and are excellent preparation for entry into the workforce upon graduation or acceptance into graduate programs. They can also help you to narrow down areas of interest and give you an edge over other applicants when the time comes to apply for professional positions.
Our campus is perfectly situated close to Lancaster, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington D.C. and New York, providing our students with plenty of opportunities further afield or closer to home. We are proud to have an extensive and strong alumni network, allowing us to connect students with Blue Jays who have been exactly where you are now!
